The Pharmacy Compounding Accreditation Board (PCAB) sets best‑practice standards for compounding pharmacies. Its Seal of Accreditation is awarded to those who voluntarily apply, meet rigorous requirements, and comply with PCAB rules and standards. Accreditation involves both off-site and on-site evaluations, including reviews of staff competency, facilities, equipment, records, testing programs, and ingredient sourcing from FDA-registered and/or licensed suppliers.
